Autumn Adventure

Autumn Adventure

There are many great adventures to be had in Austin, but sometimes you have to wait until its not 100+ degrees of face-melting heat to enjoy those adventures. We told Jude we were going to climb a “mountain” (Mt. Bonnell) and he was so excited. He got his binoculars and magnifying glass (he calls it a spy glass) and gave us instructions during the car ride of how to proceed if we hear a noise (let him know so he can look for it).

It was beautiful at the top of Mt. Bonnell and since we were so close, we went to Mayfield Park to check out the peacocks and ponds. Jude really enjoyed the garden area and pretended that it was a labyrinth. We even got him to take a picture of Joe and me.
