Lost in Translation

Lost in Translation

Tonight Jude told me he wanted “Ason Belly.” Ason Belly? “Baby I don’t know what that means?” “Not Ason Belly, mommy, ASON BELLY!” Huh? I finally figured out he wanted to go to Jason’s Deli. I think it’s hilarious that way words come out of his mouth. I want to remember the way he says it because soon enough he will learn the correct pronunciations. Here is a rough translation guide:

AHKIT = pocket, or chocolate

A-E-B = HEB

Ah-ee Dirday = Happy Birthday

Moo-y = movie

Bideo = video
