Sometimes you are in the mood for some country cookin’. That’s when we head to the Cracker Barrel. Or as Jude calls it, “Checkerboard.” I guess you can see why.

Little Artist

Jude and I were making valentines to mail to my grandma. Jude had such a good time painting at a birthday party, I finally got the confidence to try it at home. He loved it. Look at the concentration on his face!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Santa Claus came to visit Jude’s day care a few weeks before Christmas. Ms. Gina reported that Jude was a little reticent, but once he found put that Santa delivered presents, he was very excited to meet him. Jude asked Santa for dinosaurs.

Of course, Liam loves the camera, but he doesn’t take directions very well, so you have to “guide” him with treats.

Cousins

This Thanksgiving was the first time Jude and his two cousins on my side were all together for Thanksgiving. The girls were instant best friends and Jude wanted to do whatever they were doing. Of course, when it came to picture time, the girls loved having their picture taken, while Jude pouted.

Bedtime

The both like to listen to bedtime stories. Every boy needs a dog!

Three Year Check-Up

Jude passed his inspection. He’s 35.25″ and 26 pounds. He’s still smaller than most kids his age, but he is a healthy weight for his height. The doctor did tell Jude he needs to start using the potty and give up the diapers. I wish it was that easy. The boy tells me, “I like baby diapers.” Oy that boy!

Swim Lessons

Jude started swim lessons yesterday. He had fun, except that he couldn’t go down the slides, he doesn’t like when people sing songs (there are songs during swim lessons), and he had to listen to someone else. But he is a natural in the water.
